About Us
Established in 1980, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is one of more than 700 community foundations in the U.S. today. We serve the area of Southern Arizona, with a special emphasis on Pima and Santa Cruz counties. Our mission, to work with charitably minded individuals and organizations to strengthen Southern Arizona communities, now and for generations to come, stands as a vital link between philanthropy and the needs of our community.
The Center for Planned Giving was established in November 2002 as an impartial philanthropic resource for not-for-profit organizations, professional advisors and donors. Created through a partnership between the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and Leave A Legacy Southern Arizona, the Center is dedicated to increasing the planned and major gifts made to charitable organizations in the community.
